Cherry Bomb P Bass Pickups
Description:
The Cherry Bomb is a HOT P Bass Pickup. I wanted to create a P Bass pickup that would stand out great in a loud band mix. I didn't want The Cherry Bombs to be a hollow scooped out P Bass tone.
I wanted a very tight low end frequency and a strong mid frequency balanced with the top end. I overwind these pickups with enough scatter-wind to keep the treble response while pushing the mid frequencies up.
The Cherry Bombs will breathe new life into a stock P Bass.
I build the Cherry Bombs with beveled Alnico 5 magnets. The beveled magnets give a wider magnetic field. Making this pickups very touch sensitive.
I only use premium parts. Handmade in the USA. Sound samples at the bottom of the page.
