Telepepper bridge pickup

$125.00

Description:

The Telepepper is my most popular pickup. This is a great pickup for rock, blues, garage, and punk music. The Telepepper is a great choice for players looking for a mid-focused and louder Telecaster bridge upgrade. There is a slight bump in compression with a tight low end. The Telepepper is a great pickup for overdrive and high gain players.

I scatter-wind The Telepepper to make sure they retain the legendary Telecaster punch and twang while giving them more volume and power. The Telepepper interacts great with the guitar volume pot.

Set-Up:

I like to set the Telepepper pickup height at 5/64th on the bass side and 4/64th the treble side. You can adjust to taste from there. With all my Telecaster guitars I like to turn the guitar volume down to about 8, then turn my amp and gain up a touch to compensate. When I want full power I roll my guitar volume up to 10.

I use only premium parts. Handmade in the USA. Sound samples at the bottom of the page.

Technical Specs:

  • 8.2k DC Resistance

  • Alnico 5 Magnets

  • Wax Potted

  • Height adjustment screw and rubber tubing included
