The Abigail neck pickup

from $125.00

Description:

The Abigail neck pickup is wound to vintage specifications. These pickups have all the vintage chime and twang you want.

I like the Abigail with an open neck cover. The open cover has less inductance making the pickup brighter and open sounding.

The Abigail neck pickup is a great match with the Abigail bridge or Telepepper bridge pickup.

The Abigail neck pickup is reverse wound for hum-canceling in the middle position.

Set-Up:

I like to set my Telecaster neck pickup height at 5/64th on the bass side and 4/64th on the treble side. Then I like to adjust by ear to balance out with my bridge pickup and middle position.

I only use premium parts. Handmade in the USA. Sound samples at the bottom of the page.

Technical Specs:

  • 7.2k DC Resistance

  • 43 awg Plain Enamel Coil Wire

  • Alnico 5 Magnets

  • Wax Potted

  • Nickel, Open Nickel, Gold, Chrome options available

  • Height adjustment screw and rubber tubing included
